「電子機器」は英語で electronic device(s) と言います。「電化製品」は electronic appliance(s) 、「家電」は household appliance と表現されます。これらを electronics と呼んでもいいです。まずは、家電に関する単語をお教えします。

I would like to buy とは「～を買いたいです」とか「～買いたいと思います」を意味するフレーズですね。買いたいものがあれば、店員に次のように言いてみます。

英語のネイティブは looking to + 動詞の原形 と言うパータンをよく使います。「～する予定です」と「～したいです」の意味で使えます。それで、I’m looking to buy (…) と言うフレーズを使いても OK です。

• I’m looking to buy a Nintendo Switch.
  ニンテンドースイッチを買いたいです。
• I’m looking to purchase a new tablet.
  新しいタブレットを購入したいと思います。
• I’m looking to buy the new Mac Mini.
  新しい Mac Mini 買いたいです。

モデルについて

「最新モデル」と「最も新しいモデル」は英語で (the) newest model とか (the) latest model と言います。ですから、(the) new model は「新しいモデル」と言う意味ですね。

「何を買いたい」と言いて、店員は Which model would you like to buy? (どのモデルを買いたいのですか？) と聞くかもしれませんね。その場合に、次のように答えることができます。

容量についおて

「容量」は storage と言います。「保存容量」は storage capacity になりますね。買いたいデバイスの保存容量について聞いてみたい時に次のようなフレーズを使います。

  このモデルの保存容量はどれくらいですか。
• Can you tell me about the storage capacity?
  保存容量について教えてもいいですか？

GB と TB は gigabyte と terabyte の略称ですね。gigabyte と terabyte は model と一緒に使われることが多いです。

  これは 64 GB のモデルです。
• I would like to buy the 256 gigabyte model.
  256GB モデルを買いたいと思います。
• I’d like to buy the 128 gigabyte model iPhone 12.
  128ギガのiPhone12を買いたいです。
